Cypress House is dedicated to the development and nurturing of independent publishers. In order for small publishers and bookstores to stay afloat amidst the mega-mergers and bottom-line reverence of mass market publishers and chain stores, we must create alliances among ourselves. In the spirit of fostering communication in the small press sector, this newsletter was born. We are here to report on left coast publishing and to serve writers, self-publishers, independent publishers, and independent booksellers nationwide.

Writers Connection Seminars and Conferences: These marketing-oriented seminars are sponsored by an organization that aims to serve writers through a monthly newsletter and a grammar hot line. The 1-day conferences are held throughout the year in a hotel in Santa Clara.
