Distribute
Quantum Publishing Company didn't like
the hefty discounts demanded by distributors and
wholesalers, so they took a different approach to
distribution. We typeset and illustrated a number
of their technical books, and Quantum sold over
100,000 copies to Radio Shack and other retail
outlets as premiums. The books helped sell
equipment, the equipment helped sell books, and
everyone made money.
